How to add, view, remove, and monitor attachment usage in TeamPassword.

  • File types such as images, documents, and text files can be attached to records.

  • The total attachment size limit is 10MB per organization, or 250MB for Enterprise organizations.

  • New attachments can only be added through the web app, not through browser extensions or mobile apps.

How to Attach a File

  1. Inside of a record, click on Choose Files

  2. The little wheel will spin continuously. When you click Save, the attachment will upload.

  • Multiple files can be attached to new or existing records in the web app.

  • All attached files are encrypted in the same way that records are encrypted.

  • Attachment activity will show in the Activity Log.

How to Preview/Download an Attachment

  • Click on the Attachment's file name to bring up a preview of the file. Not all files can be previewed.

  • Click OK to close the pop-up.

  • Click the Download button to download the attachment.

How to Remove an Attachment

  • Click Edit on the record.

  • Scroll down to Attach files. Click the trash can icon on the right to remove the attachment.

How to View Admin Insights on Attachments

Admins can see an overview of the organization's attachment usage in the Team Settings.

  • From your home dashboard, click your email in the top right

  • Click [name of your organization]

  • Click Attachments from the list on the left

Admins can monitor the organization's attachment usage on the Attachments page.

Clicking on a Group name will take you to the Group in your Team Settings (A new tab will open in your browser). Records with attachments will show an icon and the file size.
